ECC WSI Class Basic Shallow Water Exercise Exercises

List of some basic shallow water exercise moves

•      Run forward - assisting arms; X-country arms, or opposing arms
•      Run backward - assisting arms; X-country arms, or opposing arms
•      Side Stepping - Jumping Jack arms
•      Soldier walk or Goose Stepping
•      Jump Back - touching feet simultaneously
•      Knee lifts - stand tall, shoulders back, heels down, tummy tucked
•      Arms you can add: Rocky, arms raised lateral, bounced lateral arms,
•      Elbows to knees crossing, single & double, outside elbows to knees
•      Cowboy kicks
•      Karate kicks
•      Jumping jacks
•      Jumping jacks with punch
•      Pendulum swings - various arms
•      Arms in water, swinging side to side
•      Arms pressing down - in opposition
•      Arms lift and stretch - same side arm and leg
•      Arms above - swing side to side with palms facing front, back, down, up
•      Rocking Horse
