Dear Mr. Dickens ,
                Thanks from me , and, I hope, from all of your
correspondents, for your wonderful efforts to enlighten us , and provide us
with a bit of cheer over the past year !
                Though I'd like to be in London myself , and can't, I hope
for your sake that ALL of the tourists go home and allow you to enjoy the
old city in peace during this Christmastide !
