My dear Mr Mark and Miss Julie,

  Several of your colleagues have asked me similar questions.  My replies
have been devoid of profundity, because there is nothing about which to be
profound.  My role in the project is to answer the questions asked me.
Unlike Mrs Joe in "Great Expectations," I believe young people should ask
questions, which should be answered.  That, surely, is the essence of education.
