My dear Anonymous Correspondents,
My role is to answer questions asked of me, no more no less.
I wonder whether you have read my book "Great Expectation." If you have
you perhaps remember the occasion near the beginning when young Pip asks
what the hulks are. Mrs Joe snaps back that they're prisons for thieves,
murderers and the like. "And they always begin by asking too many
questions." That is something I most emphatically do not believe. The
asking of questions is the beginning of education. That is why I support
Chatback.
Faithfully yours,
Charles Dickens
