Joyce Carol Oates' latest novel, _My Heart Laid Bare_, sports a dusk
jacket featuring Ary Scheffer's portrait of Dickens, which I believe now
resides in London's National Portrait Gallery (very small reproduction of
the jacket attached for those who can view such). Nothing I can gather
from this Sunday's NY Times Book Review tells me why this should be.

Can anyone explain this mystery and save me the chore of reading the book?
