William De Morgan ?

My Dear Mr. Dickens,
              A Mr.William De Morgan, of London, I believe,has achieved
great renowned as creater of ceramic tiles.
              I have recently aquired a novel called "When Ghost Meets Ghost"
set in 1850s London, and by an author named William De Morgan.
              I wonder, Sir, if you have had occassion to cross paths with
either or both of these gentlemen, and if they might be one in the same?
              I shall be most greatfull if you will send any information
which you may possess about these gentlemen by return post.
