My dear Miss Wensel,

Jerry Cruncher's wife knows that Jerry is a "resurrection man," a grave
robber who sells bodies for dissection. That is why she prays for him. Her
knowledge and disapproval are threatening to Jerry. That is why he is agitated.

Faithfully yours,

Charles Dickens

Tale of Two Cities". When Jerry Cruncher was leaving for Tellson's Bank one
morning, his wife kept praying for him, and he kept getting more and more
angry with her. I didn't quite understand why she was praying or why he was
so agitated with her. Could you please help me to better understand ?
