You are right in your interpretation, but I would question your calling it
a fact. The Marquis takes the view that society must be built upon fear and
repression. I cannot agree with this, and like to think it has been shown
to be false. Fear and repression, you should know in your century above all
others, are not the materials with which to build a lasting social order.
