My dear Sir,
Needless to say, I am pleased you enjoyed "A Tale of two Cities" overall,
despite your dificulties with it. But I cannot agree with you when you say
all answers to the problems of this world can be found in the Bible. There
is no better guide to the problems of this world, and without the spirit
that moves within it, we are much impaired in our ability to solve them.
However, I cannot bring myself to believe our Saviour died to provide us
with answers; rather that He did so to show us the love that can lead us to
answers.
Faithfully yours,
Charles Dickens
