I am looking for information on Charles Dickens which on this side of
the world is unfortunately very scarce.  I am writing a paper on his
life and the society in which he lived highlighting his contributions
to our world today.

I am looking for information on his life, background, contributions
to literature, and why he is considered one of the world's best
authors.  Also information on the society of 19th century England in
which he lived (i.e. government, social structure, family structure,
economy at the time, etc.).

If you have any knowledge in the above or know any informative web
sites about this, please send it on over here.
