Dear Sir
It has been suggested from time to time that you, in the modern world,
would be happy writing story lines for certain television programmes.
I'm talking of course, of the dreaded 'Soap Opera' genre.
I'm not sure I would agree with this because even though I think your
works should reach as wide an audience as possible, I have never seen
a televisual or cenematic adaptation of any of your books that comes
near to capturing the true essence or atmosphere of your vision. I was
wondering, therefore, what your thoughts are about such a hypothesis.
