Mr Dickens regrets problems in communication between St Johns and himself.
He ascribes them partly to his own flower-like innocence; partly to the fact
that, if his friend Holloway is to be believed, St Johns has more than one
address.  Holloway advises, not what is at the head of this document, but:
"boz@sjuvm.stjohns.edu".  The inimitable is reduced by this to a condition
of unutterable misery.
