Antonia from Brussels wondered if there were any Fellowship members on the
list.

" It is my first e-mail to you folks: any Boz fans on this list located in
Europe? Any Dickens Fellowship members? I myself am writing from Brussels,
Belgium.
Regards,
Antonia "

Yes I am a Dickens Fellowship member. In fact I am the treasurer of the
Rochester Dickens Fellowship. You are probably aware that the Rochester
branch will be hosting the Fellowship's 2000 conference. The Rochester
Dickens Fellowship feels honoured and proud to be hosting the first
conference of the New Millennium and that we shall be 'Launching Dickens
into HIS Third Century'. So please if you haven't already decided to do so
let me invite you, your family and your friends to the Dickens Fellowship's
2000 in July of next year.

We are also very proud to be the first British branch to have its own
website. http://members.tripod.com/~DickensFellowshipCD/
We see it as great tool not only to spread news of our own branch
activities
but the works and memory of Charles Dickens himself. Of course it will be
of great use to promote our " 2000 Conference ". We already have several
WebPages giving details of the conference. If you have any knowledge
of websites or can offer any suggestions to improve our site please let me
know. I am more than happy to receive all the advice I can possibly get my
hands on. I am not a great computer t 'anorak'.Please tell your friends and
fellow Dickensians about our website - I'd like
to get their views on it too.

Until our next communication I trust I find you well and good spirits.
Anyway speak to you soon.

Yours in Fellowship
Paul J. Allen
