Hi Kimberly,

I've been in Europe for the past 5 weeks and am finally reading all my
email. I visited Terezin, the concentration camp where Jews played in an
orchestra, painted, etc. to show the Red Cross how well they were treated.
I teach world history and am very interested in the Holocaust even thugh my
father-n-law, God rest his soul, believed that the whole thing was a hoax.
I would certainly love to have a copy of the lesson plan you mentioned.
What do I need to do to get a copy?

Thanks,

June

Kimberly A. Smith,

Being a student I thought I might be able to help a bit on your enquiry for
a biography.

I myself had studied the Holocaust in great detail, and can send you, if
you wish, the 2 week assignment I was set. It would prove very helpful if
you give an introduction of Hitler's ideology and provide quotations taken
from Meinkampf (all of which was included in the assignment I produced).
There are also many good web sites about the Holocaust which contain diary
entries dedicated to the 'Holocaust Survivors'. By going into a search
engine and typing Holocaust Survivors', it should bring a long list of
diary entries as well as images which will be useful, if printed out, and
shown to your class students.

hope that helps.
