Dear Sally MacLaren,

I am a design engineer/amateur novelist in Oxfordshire, England. Pleased to make your acquaintance.
I was interested to read that you were an army nurse in WW2. Was that with the American army or the British?
 I have been asked to write some short stories based on fact, mainly about the lives of some POW's in Italian and German camps. There are a lot of questions I would like to ask you about our experiences. Like how you felt at different stages of the war etc. Would this be OK with you?
