Leilani,
I was a ball turret gunner on a b-17 based in England during the
war. I hated the war and wanted to be home with my new bride,
but felt we had to be there. I was often very frightened during
our missions and greatly relieved when we got back to base
safely. I greatly admired the British people and enjoyed
visiting London, Edinburg and Nottingham.
