I have three questions which I was hoping someone might be able to answer:

Was any type of insurance payble if a house was destroyed during the Blitz?

What were the currency restrictions if someone eg a war bride, emigrated from England immediately after the war?

Were there restrictions on goods taken abroad, or only on money?

I'd also like to say how much I've enjoyed the Christmas messages, and wish everyone a happy new year.
