Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year

Dear Friends,
I am about to leave work and go to prepare Christmas for my family. It is
mild and sunny in Leeds UK today no sign of snow. We hope to do some walking
in the lovely Yorkshire Dales over the holiday.
I want to thank you for your friendship, wisdom and help this year. Getting
to know you all and hearing your stories and taking part in your discussions
has been a highlight of this year for me. Your kindness to the teachers on
the courses I ran in the summer has been greatly appreciated.
So a very happy Christmas to you all. May love, warmth, and good food be yours!
I hope 1998 is good to us all - particularly that it is peaceful and that
as little suffering as pssible takes place.
