Kindertransport

I just read a message from Jan Mokrzycki to Megan Groom
trying to explain the Holocaust Kindertransport story.

While I am sure that Jan did his best, his answer unfortunately
was completely incorrect. The Kindertransport was the story of
the people of Great Britain saving the lives of 10,000 young children,
but not their families, from the Nazis and almost certain death.

If anyone is interested in fuller details, I would be glad to tell them
the complete story, since I was one of those children whose life was saved.
