8th grade projects, TO BE YOUNG DURING A TIME OF WAR

Hello Tom Halloway and correspondents. Once again I am doing my project
with 8th grade students, where I have asked them to retell someone's story
of what it was like to be young during a time of war. We read THE DIARY OF
ANNE FRANK and watch the American movie, MEMPHIS BELLE, in conjunction with
this project.

How are you? I'm fine! My name is Shelly Smith,I live in Fort
Atkinson,Iowa. I go to Turkey Valley High School. I'm thirteen years old, I
have three sisters, Kelly, Lisa, Kristin, and a little brother Brad. We
live on a farm right out of Fort Atkinson. I just want to ask you a few
questions for Language Class. Feel free to ask me any questions.
