Went to London this summer, as I have a great interrest for WW2-history.
Not so much the millitary history, but  how it was for the civilians. At
the Imperial War Museum, I talked to an elderly woman and said:
-It must have been horrible during the Blitz.  And she said to me:
-Young man, It was the best time of my life ! I´ve never had so much fun
!
That seems to be the common oppinion. "The best time of our lifes.."
True ???
