Thank you.  One of the problems I have (as WebMaster for
our site, and Moderator of this list) is that I don't know
how much people already know about us.  It seems to me from
your post that you haven't seen our website (URL below) and
so won't have read the 'doodlebug' and other stories there.

We've been going for more than three years now, and the archives
are a real treasure-trove of social history.  I also keep some
files in my ftp area in case people want to see what sort of
questions responses are typical.  (but, again, I don't know how
common it is for people to use ftp anymore, now that everything
has shifted over to the wwweb).

Me of course (I'm the LONDON SCHOOLBOY on the panel), but also
Horace Basham, now in New Zealand, and several others currently
lurking on the list.  (We have LOTS of lurkers...).
