Dear Tom,
 Would you tell me if there is a policy on publishing the things people write
on the list in response to questions?  As you know I write learning materials
and I certainly don't want any problems.  Can I quote from Ganny's Kitchen
and just credit the page?

Thus far, I have written individually to individual people who have commented
and so I have written permission directly from them.  Today there was a nice
response titled "Surviving in Wartime Holland (1939-1945)"  I'd like to use
that statement, but I have no individual address for Sied de Wit.  Can you
supply me with a direct address to Sied so that I can ask for permission?

As yet, I have not finished the current lessons, but have had a trial run on
some student teachers in a seminar.  I think they were pleased, but I did
find some things that I wish to revise and have gotten a few more responses
 from people to include.  When I get it finished, I'll send it to you.
 Because of the length I should probably mail it through the post office.  I
could attach it, but need to know if you can then read it. I use Claris 4 for
writing and am on AOL for the e-mail.
