Hello!  I am a new subscriber to Memories.  I am a returning student at U
of H Clear Lake, trying to fulfill a lifelong ambition to become a
history teacher.  I am very excited about joining your group and the
opportunity to learn from you.  I was wondering if any of you were in the
Merchant Marines during the war.  I would be very interested in any type
of information about this service.
