Schools under occupation in Poland in 1939-1945.

How do you think I felt arriving at school one day and find
that lessons are being taught in German? Not a single
word did I understand, especially when the teacher tried to
explain it to us what is happening, she was quickly put in
her place by a German personel standing by to oversee that
all orders were carried out.

However this did not last long as schools were closed
altogether right up to the end of the war. Teaching was
done in secrecy in churches or private houses.
