Hi Supardek you asked several questions for your WWII project and here are
my answers
> 1. How did the war affect your life?
I was a school girl and having to go daily to school facing always the
danger of an air raid had a big effect on my life.
> 2. Did you get hurt?
No, and neither did any member of my immediate family. But a lot of
people did suffer the loss of a loved one and also the loss of their
family home.
> 3. Where did you live during that time?
I lived in Vienna, the capital city of Austria. As you probably know from
your studies of WWII, at that time Austria was allied with Germany.
> 4. Were there many people killed and how did you feel?
Yes there were many people killed. But as I was only six years old when
the war started and was lucky enough not to lose any members of my family
I must honestly say the only feeling I do remember is the constant fear I
had when the sirens announced another air raid and one could hear the
bombs fall.
> 5. What was rationing of food during that time?
By the second part of the war just about everything was rationed, not only
all food stuffs ( there was never enough to eat) but all clothing etc. as
well.
> Thank you for your support and help with these questions.
