Hi Supardek,
> My name is Supardek Sasomsub. I am a student at Kaimuki High
> School in Honululu, Hawaii. I am doing The World WarII Project
>as library work study.

> 1. How did the war affect your life?

In many different ways. It disrupted normal life as you know it and
caused much personal suffering and much property damage to a great many
people.

> 2.Did you get hurt?

No, I personally did not get hurt.

> 3. Where did you live during that time?

I lived in Vienna, Austria, which was part of Germany during the war.

> 4. Were there many people killed and how did you feel?

Yes, there were many people killed, soldiers as well as civilians. That
doesn't make you feel very good.

> 5. What was rationing of food during that time?

Basic staples such as meat, sugar, flour, butter were rationed, as were
cigarettes. Other types of food were just not available (available fruit
was confined to what grew in moderate climates, apples, pears, grapes
etc). Germany had no access to banana, pineapple, or citrus fruit growing
countries, although Italy supplied some southern fruit until they
switched sides during the war.

> Thank you for your support and help with these questions.

You are quite welcome.
Ernest.
