Hello Brandon at Farm Hill School - I'm sorry to
disappoint you, but there are no US veterans that took
part in any battles on the panel.

You will notice (if you dig into our World-Wide-Web
pages) that we largely concentrate on civilian experiences
of the war.

The reason for that is that Larry Jewell's wwii-l list
deals with combat experiences and I didn't want to try
and duplicate that.  You know that list?  It's called
wwii-l@ubmv.cc.buffalo.edu and the subscription goes to
listserv@ubvm.cc.buffalo.edu

Thanks for writing.  I hope you understand about the panel
members. I'm aware of the extraordinary efforts of so
many combattants, but would rather concentrate on the
civilian aspect because many times more civilians died
than combattants, and the history books tend to concentrate
on the battles.
