Sean: The skin-heads don't know what horror they would
release on the world, themselves eventually included. All
humans are fundamentally alike; individually we can like or
dislike them, it's only when we put them in groups that we fear
or hate them. Don't ever categorize people!
Randi: I don't quite know what you mean by "the liberation."
If you mean the end of the war, I felt relief that it was
finally over. If you mean liberations of individusal countries,
they came at different times. Each was a step on the road to
eventual victory, which I never doubted.
Christopher: There were many wars going on simultaneously in
WWII, which means that you saw it from different viewpoints,
depending on which one you were in. Each was different from the
others, but it was the Great Adventure of our times. Choosing
my tenses very carefully, I can only say it was a great thing to
have been in. Of course, I survived; the dead might not agree
with me.
