There is an excellent book written by Manny Lawton entitled "Some Survived"
which details his experience in being captured in the Philipines, the Bataan
Death March, and the struggle to survive the Japanese Labor camps.  It should
be in most libraries, but if not, let me know and I'll locate the publisher.
 Since I knew Mr. Lawton personally, the book is most interesting to me, but
it details some of the horrors suffered and the ways various peopled coped
with them.
