Nathan: I am a WWII combat veteran, served in Europe from D+4 (4 days
after D-day, and, after the war, stayed on to help. I was discharged in
April, 1946, used the GI Bill to complete my education. As it has been
a long time ago, some of my memories have (thankfully)been lost, but if
I can help, I'll answer any of your questions I can. Good luck on your
quest,
