The only information I can find on my Grandfather at this time is the
following: He was in the Army and was a Private. He was in the 142nd
division. He died in France on December 3, 1944. My Mother has letters
he wrote to my Grandmother, but she has not located them. (They are
somewhere in her attic) I will let you know when I get more info.

In the meantime, My sister-in-law's Grandfather was also killed in the
War. She has lots of information about him: He was PVC Philip Harley
Stowe from York, S.C. He was in the 42nd Rainbow division of the
Army. He died on April 9, 1945 in Germany. His Social Security Number
was 251-12-5619.

I went into the Veteran's of the American Legion on Netscape, but had
no success with that. I also tried the WWII list, but it won't come up on
my computer.
