Saw two famous American Generals: One was Gen. Dwight D, Eisenhower, who
whoosed by us in a huge car somewhere in Germany.. Near Regensburg, we were
riding in the back of a U.S. Army 2 1/2 toen truck, when a jeep pulled up
behind us with a large 50 caliber gun aimed at our midst and a very red-faced
(angry) General trying to get by. It was General George Patton. We were glad
when he passed us without comment!
