Dont think this is too important, but to answer you, I (born 1922) learned
about WWI from my father, who was a member of ther Massachusetts State Guard,
almost slated to go to Mexican border, where, I'm told, there was some rumor
of some kind of invasion.Other sources were The American Legion magazine,
which contained war stories. Believe my freshman year at Williams College
(Williamstown, MA) we studied European history, including background to that
war. Participated in WWII for an almost three year hitch.
