Let's try this again and hopefully it will get to the groups.  Welcome to our
5th grade teacher.  A reference that you might like to check concerning
teaching WWII and ideas for lessons for elementary students is Social Studies
and the Young Learner vol.7 no. 2 Nov/Dec 1994 pages 18-19 and the two pull
out sections.  This journal should be in university libraries or can be
obtained from the National Council for the Social Studies, the largest
organization of social studies educators in the US. NCSS is at 3501 Newark
