I have no doubt that you can find out about your grandfather. First you
must go to your attic and find out anything you can about his organization.
Sush things as company,(or battery,if
artillery),battalion,regiment,division,etc. while looking for these things
take note of names (and rank) of anybody mentioned in anything written.

You can then try again through MEMORIES.
Once you have the information from your attic you will gladly be helped by
the local chapters of Veterans of Foreign Wars and/or The American Legion.
Please report your progress to MEMORIES.
What may suprise you is how many WWII organizations have reunions every year.
