I can forward stories from Eugene Halski. He is 76 years old. While
born and raised in Ukraine, he was drafted by the Russian Army to
fight in Finland and then WWII. He was captured and ultimately was
in POW camps in Russia and Germany four years although he escaped
several times. He was in a displaced persons camp for several more
years until he was able to come to the United States.
Would you like us to write a story? We also have some questions some
other elders might be able to answer. May we ask those?
