Ron Gillen forwarded an email from Jianru Lu asking for a love poem from the
war.

The obvious one -- in my opinion, would be "Today we have naming of parts"
in which a soldier is learning about the parts of a rifle, but his thoughts
are with other things. You can find it at

I have always thought that some of the popular songs had wonderful words. I
would definitely include 'That Lovely Weekend' and others. You can actually
