Dear Jan, Since joining Time Witnesses I have been researching Polish history during and after the war. I just found and read a book by Julian Eugeniusz Kulski who was the son of the Catholic Mayor of Warsaw during the occupation. He was about your age, 10 in 1939. It is entitled Dying, We Live and it is his story of being a freedom fighter during the war. He was part of the 1944 Warsaw uprising. Do you have memoried of the uprising? If so I would appreciate it if you could share them with me. If for any reason this would be unpleasant for you, please decline. I would not like to cause you unnecessary paim.
