I am trying to find a song for my father. It is from the 1940's. All
he can remember is the following words:

When I found dust on Mother's Bible, I knew that she had gone above
No more to me her voice was vacant.

Come here my boy, the one I love. I've been away too long I wonder
and no one met me at the gate. When I found dust on Mother's Bible, I
knew that I had come home too late.

He remembers that that flip side had a song about a blind boy wanting
to give his dog Rover to Uncle Sam.
