She was the first Land Girl in the second world war in Oxfordshire and worked near RAF Benson where she met her now husband who was a spit fighter pilot. We have not been able to find much background resource material on the web and would be grateful of any information you could give us or links or people. The information we desperately need is the history behind the land girls and statistics along with the various jobs that the land girls did during the second world war with demographics.
