From: MFWalstrom@aol.com I found a page on UK deaths in WW 11. There was one death that specifically grabbed my attention. It was of a Ronald Smith who was 20 in May 1940 at the time of his death in France, where he was buried. I have wondered about a cousin not heard from since 1924 from London area. I felt if he had not been killed in that war he would now be 81 and could possibly still live. This dashed my hopes. My Ronald Smith was born in April 1920 so would have been 20 in May 1940, at the time of the above mentioned death. I cannot find the web site in which the info was accidentally found. I hoped that the info of this soldier Smith's death would give his parents names and the address he lived at the time of his enlistment, as well as any possible siblings he may have had. My mother wrote to him in London(address unknown)from Illinois where she had migrated. They both had sons born in 1920 butthrough moving to other addresses or otherwise, they lost contact in 1924. Can you guide me in finding the informtion from this dead soldier's records. His father's name was Frederick Smith and his mother's was Lily Tenant. Please can you advise me as to any recourse or do you, yourself, have records of this request. Thanking you and hopefully yours Midge Walstrom USA rd: ------------------------ Yahoo!
