My request is perhaps rather close to David Torbet's e-mail for
information on the children of British servicemen- so please forgive
any sense of deja-vu!

I am about to embark on my final year dissertation at Manchester
University and am searching for anyone willing to volunteer any
childhood memories impacted by the fascist regimes of the Second World
War (including that in Britain), and how these memories have shaped,
and been shaped by, later life experince.

Whether these memories are a result of direct experience of the war,
or experienced through parents, i would be very grateful for any
response to what i know can be a very sensitive, and sometimes
painful, subject.

Many Thanks,

Anna Spooner
