Hello one and all, and thank you or the time you take to share your
knowledge, pain and memories.

My question I hope will be simple. Christmas. I am a tree designer for
Festival of Trees. We design trees and auction them to raise monies
for our hospital. My plan is to do a tree in 2002 called "I'll be home
for Christmas". So far I have a pedal car, a door (framed in and in
front of the tree) ajar as if looking into the home and you can see
the tree. Just about everything else needs to go on the tree as in
ration cards and letters home from the military. I thought of photos
of men and women in uniform. I have no other frame work to work in. I
need a idea of differant types/styles of Christmas. I can make a
ornament out of anything. I simply need a picture for my head to take
off with. I have no desire to belittle anyones Christmas, but I do
feel I can make a lovely tree with ideas from the era.

I hope this is making sense. Thank you.
