[timewitnesses] Crashed German bomber at Middlesbrough

Please can anyone tell me about the crashed German bomber found at
Middlesbrough a year or so ago?

All I know about it is that it was re-discovered during railway work
and the bones of Hans Maneke were found. The TV News mentioned that 3
other occupants of the plane had been found dead just after it crashed
about 60 years ago, and they were buried in Thornaby.

What type of plane was it? Who were the other occupants? What was
the date and intended target of the raid?

Thanks, from David G Butters, Billingham, DavidBttrs@aol.com
