Denmark and Sweden

Hello all, I am a 4th grade teacher and we are reading "Number The Stars" by
Lois Lowry.  This book is about the Danish people who moved thousands of
their Jewish citizens to Sweden.  The historical fiction story tells of  a
young girl and her family who help to move Jewish friends to Sweden by
hiding them in her uncle's floor of the his fishing boat.  It is quite a
wonderful story and my children like it.  I am wondering if there are any
subscribers who lived this, experienced this or could add some interesting
stories for my students.
