Hello-
My name is Kelly Oster. I am a student at Kent State University in
Canton, Ohio. I am in the process of collecting information about
children living in England during World War II. The information
that I am centering on focuses on the children that were sent out of
England for the duration of the war. In Ohio a group of
eighty-three (83) children arrived in North Canton, Ohio to stay for
the duration of the war. I had the opportunity to talk to and
interview two of the children (now adults) that relocated back to
Ohio after their return back to England after the war.
My research is now centering on the parents and/or siblings of
these children. I am wondering about the emotion of sending
children to stay with people that most of the families didn't know
for an undisclosed amoount of time.
My question to you is...can I use your web site to put out my
inquiry for informaion? Please write back and let me know. I would
