Arthur,
Perhaps something less know is that the Japanese sent firebombs to the U. S.
via Balloons using the Jet stream to carry them quickly.  One exploded and
killed a woman and group of children on a Sunday afternoon outing in the
forests of the Northwest.  Mary E. Haas
