The old remedy torture: The Mustard Plaster!!! I remember it well. I have no idea how it was made either, but I sure remember every time I had a chest cold, my mother would peal the protective cover off of one and slap it on my chest. It produced heat that was supposed to reduce congestion and cure the cold. How I hated them! Bud
