Wartime cooking...

A group of us at Leamington Elders (helping Eileen Pedley
to run this project) have managed to get hold of a book
about cooking in wartime Britain issued by the Ministry of
Food: recipes for dried eggs, meatless meat pies, all
sorts of amazing vegetable dishes (cakes made with potato
flour, would you believe?), how to use sour milk, etc.

We were wondering how to use them with this list. Can we
hear from others if they would be interested in, say,
having one recipe sent to the list every week? We are
going to try a few of them out in our own kitchens when we
get the chance - we'll let you know how we get on...
